The Chili Contest is Back!

You heard right, it’s time to dust off those chili pots and pull out your secret spices. The 2021 Reynolds and Reynolds Houston Cook Off has brought back a classic category of competition: CHILI!

Some common 🔥BURNING🔥 questions
 

• Do I need to be part of a traditional cook off team to compete in the Chili category?
  • No! Individual Chili-only teams are being accepted and provided booths in the Cook Off.  
  • Traditional Cook Off teams can also compete in the Chili category.
• Are there any rules or limitations on what counts as “chili”?
  • Not really. We know that Texas Chili is as diverse as the state itself. You can bring your strict Terlingua Texas Competition style bowl of Texas Red recipe or your Far-out Tofu Vegan Chili recipe. Anything from mild to “you should sign a waiver before eating this” is OK.
  • Heck, you can even put beans in it.

Date/Times/Location
The dates, times, and locations are the same as the 2021 Reynolds and Reynolds Houston Cook Off.

Awards
Awards will be given for:

• 1^st Place Chili
• 2^nd Place Chili
• 3^rd Place Chili
